Food Depot

The aim of our Food Depot is to reduce waste. It's a free resource open to everyone and stocked with good food donated by local retailers, growers and members of the public. Food Depot contents vary each day.

The Refill Corner

The Refill Corner offers low-cost refills for everyday household and food essentials, helping reduce packaging waste and keep costs down. Visitors can bring their own containers or use those provided. It’s a simple, sustainable way to shop thoughtfully while supporting the community

The Village Pantry

The Village Pantry brings together the Food Depot, Crossing Paths and The Refill Corner into one shared community space. It offers surplus food, sustainable everyday essentials and friendly support in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Stuff Depot

Need glassware for an event? Or a specialist tool for a one-off DIY project? Visit the Stuff Depot – we might have just what you need! The Stuff Depot is available exclusively to Vital Village Club members.

Community Garden

Come and grow with us! Meet local folks, learn and share skills, and boost your wellbeing whilst supporting our precious nature. In our joyful and productive community garden, created by volunteers and dedicated to growing tasty veg, fruit and beautiful blooms, together. All are welcome!

Vital Village Café

The Vital Village Café provides a welcoming place to meet for a chat over a coffee and a slice of cake. The café may also take on special catering requests from those hiring one of our spaces. Please ask for details.
