Movement Is Medicine bridges the gap between science, music, movement & rhythm.

Through music, movement, and education, MIM helps you uncover your innate rhythm, connects you to the present moment, and release stress.

I will immerse you in a variety of electronic music genres, emphasising percussion, BPM (beats per minute) and innovative song structures. From House and Garage, to Afrobeats and Drum & Bass and much more, our focus is on the drum. You will experience a diverse musical journey.

Using our neuroscience backed method we work through the body using specific exercises to regulate the nervous system, release tension, stress and emotion leaving you feeling calm, present and by the end........BUZZING!

Please wear clothes you are comfy in as you want to be able to move freely. It doesn't matter what you look like, it is about how you feel!

The first part of the practice is seated on the floor where you will have your eyes closed to enable us to tune into the rhythm of the music and have complete body awareness without the noise of our busy thinking minds. You may wish to bring a yoga mat, cushion, eye mask.

The second part will be standing and we we will be working through some specific exercises to begin with and will end on moving how your body wants to move and shaking out any stress that is left in the body by just letting loose!

NO CHOREOGRAPHY......... NO ROUTINE....... NO JUDGEMENT!!!!!

Please bring a bottle of water and a sweat towel if you love to MOVE a lot!
