We’re excited to announce that the Vital Village Club is now live and welcoming members! What a way to kick things off! Today’s launch event was a fantastic success, filled with energy, smiles, and a true sense of community. From activity tasters to our beautiful new playground opening, and a first look at the Stuff Depot, the day was a brilliant celebration of what Vital Village stands for.
This community-driven membership is designed to offer local families and individuals exclusive perks while supporting the future of Vital Village – your local, self-funded community hub in Thames Ditton. From today, you can join the Club online and start enjoying a range of benefits, from discounts at participating local businesses and services to access to the Stuff Depot, which allows members to borrow household, party, and leisure equipment at no extra cost.

How much does it cost?
There are two options:
Annual membership: £100 paid once per year
Monthly membership: £12 paid in instalments over a 12-month minimum term
Can I still attend activities at Vital Village if I’m not a member?
Yes! All are welcome at Vital Village. However, members enjoy added benefits and are helping to ensure we can continue offering inclusive and free activities for the whole community.
How does the Stuff Depot work?
Once you’re a member, you’ll be able to borrow equipment like party supplies, kitchen appliances, camping gear and more – completely free. Items will be available to browse on our website, and you can book in advance for collection on Fridays and return the following Thursday.

How will participating businesses know I’m a member?
You’ll receive your personalised membership card within three weeks of signing up. Simply present your card at participating businesses to access your benefits.
